One of my longtime goals has been to present at ALA, and so I was quite excited when Dr. Brandy McNeil invited me along on a presentation about technology skilling and workforce programming. We participated via Zoom at ALA LibLearnX in January 2022.

This was an interactive session in four parts focused on providing training to various segments of the U.S. population. Our conversation included segments on services needed by marginalized communities, how to move past computer basics into providing skills needed for participation in the workforce, and how to share these best practices via virtual training. And of course we provided lots and lots of resources.
